Registering with FMCSA
Spuds Sack follows the driver rules in 49 CFR Part 395. A phone or browser can be the logging experience. It cannot, by itself, be listed as a registered ELD.

- Register as an ELD provider with FMCSA
- Sync to the engine for power, motion, miles, and engine hours
- Produce the Appendix A file exactly, and transfer it by web service plus Bluetooth or USB
- Monitor malfunctions from that hardware, and keep the device mounted for inspection
